I think leave the poor Dodo in peace, they don't look like survivors to me.
The Dodo is not a Jurassic animal and should not disrupt the environment. It didn't go extinct until the mid 1600's. I say let's fix the harm we have done to this animal and bring it back if possible. We are losing our animal diversity very quickly and we need a way to preserve animals that are lost by our encroachment. Just my feelings on the topic. I can see the arguments against bringing monsters back to life, but a Dodo is not a T-Rex.
