THEY ARE REBOOTING ALL SORTS OF OLD SHOWS THESE DAYS. WHAT IS ONE YOU'D LIKE TO SEE RETURN? CASTING SUGGESTIONS?

Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie.

Casting...any of those primary rolls should be filled by actors with really subtle but well exercised comedic skills. I’m going to have to think about that a bit. Like though Steve Carell is well a known comedian, in many commercial performances he’s not nuanced enough. He might be able to play Darrin in Bewitched if looking to recreate similar kinds of knee-slapping facial expressions which Dick York and Dick Sargent used to present. But he couldn’t pull off Major Nelson plus he might be too old for that roll.

I have an idea for not so much a reboot but more of a spin-off or sequel to...The Six Million Dollar Man. This one will include drama, sci fi, thriller and more.

Okay, a careless worker in an overly mechanized assembly plant is accidentally mangled by a robot on the production line. Saddened for its role in the accident, and afraid of the possible consequences once discovered, the robot’s AI colluded with other robots on the line to “rebuilt” the injured man’s parts in secret.

Knowing that skin grafts are needed to help repair the man’s human appearance, the AI makes a synthesized phone call to a plastic surgeon’s office requesting an urgent house call.

Tie into the original series is that the beautiful plastic surgeon that arrives is also Oscar Goldmen’s niece - you might recall that he is the government official who had the other bionics created and put into service as secret operatives for his agency. The surgeon helps to heal the man’s injuries but also reports her concerns about the event to her uncle who agrees to hide the secret as long as he can use the new bionic man for furthering his own agendas.

In the last few episodes of the final season, we learn that the assembly robot’s AI has grown to be even more sentient and takes the name, Optimus Prime. Da da! Queue the next series’ tie in.

im afraid six million dollars wont get you much these days, they pay kids that grew up poor 50 million a year and still refuse to stand during the national anthem, so you may want to do the economics for the time and raise it to the 6 gazillion dollar man cuz then when he has to run 60 mph to catch the bad guy he doesn't bring in the moral affect to it all and take it as a stereo type.

Sapphire and Steel. I'd guess most won't know the original so I'll just explain that. Well, as much as I can. It was a series of mini-serials which start with normal people suddenly finding themselves in some paranormal Twilight Zone situation (Like people just vanishing, or time freezing or ghosts). Then Sapphire and Steel show up to fix it. They are something other than human working for some weird cosmic force but appearing as a man and woman. Who and what they really were was never truly explained, but they were fighting against things which get into our reality from outside time and they didn't always do the nicest things and weren't really trustworthy. The final story revealed the existence of a rival faction of cosmic beings who were older and more powerful than the one we'd seen and through open the doors for a lot more. There was also a weird love triangle between Sapphire, Steel and Gold and the whole thing was just very very strange.

I'd love to have that back. No idea on casting. People who can be icey cool and enigmatic and Steel needs an edge.

Okay all, I finally decided on the cast for my Bewitched reboot...

    Samantha - Alyson Hannigan
    Darrin - Alexis Denisof
    Endora - Beth Broderick
    Maurice - Kenneth Branagh
Uncle Arthur - Chris Zylka (not because of his comedic timing but instead because of his hoot-and-a-half engagement to Paris Hilton and he played a male witch too)
    Serena - Nicole Kidman
    Esmeralda - Amber Benson
    Aunt Clara - Kathy Najimy
    Dr. Bombay - John Cleese
    Larry Tate - William Atherton
    Gladys Kravitz - Kristen Wiig
