I have no problem believing that certain beats cause brain effects. Natives have used drumming to assist in altered states of consciousness and in religious rituals. However I have some issues with the study done in this article. The study group was super small and there was no control group to compare results. The mere fact that the participants were in a quiet place with relaxing musics could have gotten the same results. This study was not done very scientifically.
