A pair of hikers in Ohio claim to have captured some rather fantastic footage of Bigfoot roaming through a forest, but not everyone is convinced that it was a genuine Sasquatch encounter. The alleged incident reportedly took place back on January 12th as the two men were visiting Salt Fork State Park near the village of Lore City. They subsequently uploaded the footage to their YouTube channel, We Do It Outdoors, in early February and it has since gone viral this week.

In the somewhat lengthy video, they explain that they went to the wooded area to fly drones and were surprised when the UAV filmed some bones that appear to have come from a large animal, possibly a deer, as well as "a lot of hair." A subsequent flyover of the area reveals a large, dark mass moving in the forest. Wondering if perhaps they had spotted a legendary Sasquatch-creature that has come to be known in the area colloquially as the Ohio Grassman, the duo returned to the area where the anomaly was spotted in attempt to investigate further.

It is at that point that they captured footage of what seems to be a hairy, bipedal creature walking through the woods. One of the witnesses can be heard gasping "it's the Ohio Grassman." They continue filming the alleged creature while whispering "look at it, it's not a person. Look at the hair." The pair then gets fairly close to the purported Bigfoot and one of the men opines that "you'd be pretty stupid to walk out here in a suit. You'd get shot." Eventually, the hikers lost sight of the alleged creature as it disappeared behind some trees and they decided to depart the area.

Since being posted to YouTube on February 2nd, the video has amassed around 150,000 views so far and spawned headlines around the world. While some Bigfoot enthusiasts marveled at the remarkable scene, other observers expressed considerable skepticism about the video, specifically how it was edited to be more of a presentation rather than simply showing the raw footage of Sasquatch. As for the creature itself, doubtful viewers contend that it looks more like a person in a suit rather than an actual Bigfoot, especially the way in which it walks. With that in mind, what's your take on the hikers' footage?

Why do you only hear one of them on the audio and they don't film each other as well as the creature? It's not until around the 8 minute mark when you hear both hiker's voices, and what, presumably, is the sound of the O'mah. Not entirely convinced by the walk, either- knees are bending and it has a shuffling gate, not a striding swaying motion. They seem to have gone to a huge amount of effort in their production quality, but since they were intentionally going in with their drones to get footage, that makes some sense. Still, I'd love to see one of them on film at the same time as the creature.
I always have a problem with these anonymous-posted-to-youtube things. If you think you caught actual footage, why would you straight up edit a video and post it to youtube instead of calling up some experts in the field and asking their opinion of your raw footage before going public?
Also, it's snowing and the leaf litter is thick- The creature is right there, tree-peeking at them. Did they think to check for prints?

And ending the video with "And don't forget to subscribe." kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Maybe it's legit but the things that bother me are -

    - lots of slick photography and editing
    - the subject's walk looks too human, as if it is deliberately walking slowly and hesitantly for no apparent reason.
    - the movement looks more like a performance than an actual ambulation.
    - the subject seems oblivious (repeatedly) to the filmmakers despite the close proximity
    - the bones at the beginning -- it just looks like they're trying too hard to create a theatrical effect

I share the same concerns about the video, the guy on film in the car looks like a joker to me. The film has a contrived feel to it. I too thought the walk looked like a human. However that being said the howels sound real along with the terrain. This looks like perfect place for a creature to live.
