This may have been mentioned here before; I do not know how to search exactly for names already ran on Obits. In event he hasn't, I thought I would do a quick late notice for Mr. Cavendish.

Richard Cavendish, English author, died back in 2016 at age 86. He was probably best known in the U.S.A. for his 24-Volume Man, Myth and Magic, etc.,, which was sort of an encyclopedia of the paranormal, and/or unexplained; this was issued both in a hardback set, and a slim magazine-like format edition. Cavendish wrote a number of books on the paranormal, starting with The Black Arts, etc. al. in 1967, which dealt with magic, the paranormal, so forth, then continuing to The World of Ghosts and the Supernatural in 1994. He was described as an "agnostic," but was closer to an general skeptic by U.S. views.

Thanks for the post. I moved this to the obits forum that you asked about.
