Back to the Valley this week!

Morning peeps. Update: The long distance live mic listening was a failure. I’ll include a couple of pictures here turns out I was about 50 feet short of our tent and a total of about 200 feet short from the cabin. And untying 200 feet of XLR cable, in the woods, on a downhill with branches all caught in It is easy try it sometime lol. Scott and I worked our butts off to get that not I’m done for Foot was an issue as well. Steve’s crawlspace recorder went into action last night. I’ll include pictures of that as well. As for the cans, I just lined them up in the middle of the stairs and see what’s gonna happen. As I was coming back down the hill from the house, something told me to turn around and take up behind the shoulder. Shot of the house included that as well. Overcast and cold here exactly how I like to be in the mountains. Absolutely perfect!! I’ll report back in a few days.
Wow the front view of that old house is really something. I bet it was a lovey place in its day. What a shame it has turned into such a dilapidated home. Thanks for the update and pics Lon. Good luck out there.

Quick update, something happened. I don’t know what started having some major anxiety today the sun came out. It just got magnified. I just felt so uncomfortable and so uneasy in the valley that I wanted to leave tomorrow I got so bad we’re actually leaving now and going to drive five hours down to the forest in Louisiana. The cans were knocked over on the steps. I have pictures the deck of cards were disturbed and Messed up. I don’t know what happened here. I did everything right, I repeat. I did everything right all I know is I can’t stay one more second in this valley we’re leaving. My best friend even said I don’t know what you’re feeling, but I’ve never seen you pack your truck like that…Will report later.

Going by the pics you sent me, i find it odd how the cards were knocked over but that damn Ace is still on top lol. Looking at the pics above, even if something scrambled over them, that card should not have been on top of the middle of the deck.

I was thinking the same, here are the pics Steve is talking about. I’ve included two pics of how I found them in the third pic is how I left them.

Really curious if anything was picked up on the recorder and why an Ace was so spot on.

I dont know but...you and 2 others picked up on that. As i mentioned earlier, when I opened the pack, the Ace of Spades was front and center and after it was messed with, the Ace was still....on top. There's a message here.

the ace of spades is always the first face card in a new deck. actually has a history to it from a homage to being used to printing tax stamps, to the days of magicians, and it being the highest value card in most games....some manufacturers will put the jokers on top and some put the jokers on bottom, but the ace of spades is always the top face card. suit, followed by diamonds, clubs and hearts, the spades and diamonds are always ascending and the clubs and hearts are always descending... cool history as to how decks of cards are stacked.
but it is cool that after being disturbed the ace was still on top...

After being back for a couple of days now, I've had a little time to reflect. The land at the cabin is clearly contaminated, in more ways that one. The vibration is completely different. I was talking with Lynne extensively about this. The big pine tree now sadly had ugly, hideous artwork all the way around it up to 7 feet. We actually covered it with a tarp as to not burn our eyes any longer. Kids or teenagers rather have signed all over the cabin with sharpies. My cousin hasnt been doing any PM's on the cabin. It was just dirty, spider webs everywhere and he and his 30.......peeps had just been there for a week the week prior. With that many people for 7 days waste has to go somewhere....Many fresh dug holes were for this and too close to the creek!!! After going there since 1995, maybe its time to turn the page. It would be like saying goodbye to an old friend. I will post audio findings as they come in. Bruce should get them Sat night.

BTW, he and i may do a Bigfoot outing just us, in early Jan. A Hotspot!
