Conspiracy theorists keeping an eye on the ISS live stream suspect that they may have caught an astronaut literally covering up a UFO.
Purportedly recorded over the weekend, the brief video shows some kind of white object flying in the distance when suddenly the giant, gloved hand of an astronaut obscures the scene.
The remarkable timing had led some UFO enthusiasts to posit that this what not merely a coincidence and that the astronaut was deliberately hiding the object from the camera.
Although the chain of events is rather curious, the fact that the UFO is difficult to spot without seeing the footage slowed down suggests that it is unlikely that the astronaut even noticed the object.
And, were the weird object really some kind of alien craft that caught the attention of the 'powers that be,' one can assume that they would simply cut the ISS feed as the space agency has been accused of doing in the past.
As such, we're guessing that the odd moment may be more a matter of perception rather than reality as the symbology of an astronaut hand actually hiding a UFO no doubt strikes a chord with those who believe NASA is keeping the phenomenon a secret from the public.
