Have you ever bought any of the "as seen on TV" type products? It can be anything from the Veg-O-Matic or Pocket Fisherman of days gone by to the Arctic Air or TacGlasses of today. Did what you buy work as advertised? Is there a product you'd buy if you knew it worked?

I once brought the Paint Runner Pro kit:

First time I had ever brought any 'As seen on TV' goods and was quite dubious, but we had LOADS of painting coming up and it looked as though it would help us out.

Best thing I ever brought!

Recently bought a light very similar to this for use in our garage. It works great, illuminates corners of the building which previously required a flashlight.

We've bought a number of the clearing products as advertised, none have been able to do anything close to what's shown on TV.

I bought one of those copper no stick fry pans. That was a mistake. What they don't tell you is the thing has to be almost continually "seasoned" by putting oil on it and put it in the oven to keep that non stick surface. It has been more trouble than it's worth. I do NOT recommend!
