Another sighting of a big cat in Yorkshire recently

I talk to hunters in the UK and there are many exotic species wild over there, racoons, wallabies, racoon dogs and others. Big cats are probable imo although most pics are big feral cats, same over here.

Large cats are high on the food chain and adaptable. They would fare well in the countryside. There's lots of small game to keep them fed. No doubt they were released by people at times and have bred in the wild. We have reports in Michigan too.
