Another Bit of Weirdness

blue light, and blue flames have a long history with myths through the ages. from divine to cursed and everything in between.... blue light also has the possibility to do more eye damage than any other light in the spectrum. and is used by eye doctors for certain tests and exams..... interesting experiance, no idea what it could be or mean, but interesting.

Wow, I didn't know that about blue light.
This still stymies me. I try to recreate the exact conditions it happened in. I had another thought; how long was that light flashing going on while I was asleep? It could have been minutes or it could have been hours. What especially puzzles me was the automatic way it would disappear, then slowly reappear minutes later. It seemed to be uniform amounts of time between flashes, like something that had been programmed.

is there anything in the room that flashes blue that could have been reflecting off the jar or glass..or crystals even... laptop light?, radio light? some other electronics like these use very small blue lights for low battery level warnings or such...power on lights on some televisions are blue also.. or have you ever had a detached retina?, hopefully not, but that (blue flashing light, or flashes of blue light) is a symptom or after effect of some eye surgeries and conditions. and they are stronger right after waking..... sorry not trying to scare ya or panic you but it might be something to research just to cross off any possible health related conditions

I don't keep electronics in the bedroom. The only thing that has a flashing light is the smoke alarm which is high up on the wall. It flashes red at regular intervals. Everything on the bureau top is non electronic as well. There is no laptop or television in there either. We both keep our phones on the bedside tables at night, but mine is placed in airplane mode when I go to sleep. The bedroom is very dark during the day, due to black out curtains so it wasn't sunlight.

The things that make this a mystery, is that 1. I have never seen this particular flashing light before, and have not seen it again since that day. If it was something that we keep in the bedroom on a regular basis I would have noticed it long before this. 2. The color is a lot like the one you see on laptops, televisions, etc. 3. The regularity of it seemed like something electronic; it would do the same thing at regular intervals. 4. It was completely silent.

Another thing I may have forgotten to mention. There was a small oblong shape reflecting on the crystals canister, about two inches wide, that would slowly grow brighter,as if building a charge. Then the blue light would flash. The whole episode must have repeated about five times, until I approached the area and moved things.

Wow. strange indeed... I have no clue. sounds like a static charge maybe, building up and then discharging. are there or were there any combinations of metals in contact. galvanized types touching coppers or brass? or similar.? that can cause a static charge to form. sounds perhaps environmental maybe. though i dont know of many cases of ball lightening forming on a dresser...:)....yeah, this is one that may remain a mystery i think.

Okay, this one is really weird. I had slept late, as usual, and was about to get up. I was lying on my side, facing the bureau on the opposite side of the bedroom. I caught a flash of a pinpoint width of blue light, and thought at first it was my eyes acting up again. Then it happened again. I stared at the bureau trying to figure out what was flashing. We all know by heart the contents of our bureau tops and I knew for a fact that there was nothing up there that should be flashing.

I watched for it to happen again. This time, I noticed that the flash of blue light was at first preceded by a small, slowly growing square of light; it was dim at first, then seemed to get brighter, then the blue light would flash; a lot like when a picture is taken. The only thing that has a flashing light in that room is a smoke alarm high up on the wall on the same side as the bureau. And the only electronics in the room are the cell phone charger, which is kept plugged in and does not flash. There are two lamps, and the mini split high on the wall opposite the bureau and it does not have any flashing lights, either.

I finally approached the bureau. The light seemed to be reflecting off of a round, metal container meant to hold potpourri. It has tiny holes all over it, and I keep my crystals in there. I moved it over just a tad, and then watched for flashing blue light to happen again. It did not. I haven't seen it since. Weird, huh?

PS: This happened around 11:30 am on August 15th.
Very interesting Miss G. My feeling is that it’s something spiritual, possibly a relative coming to check on you or something.

This is the canister: potpourri container.jpg It holds my stones, crystals, etc. I have had it for years and never had any weird stuff happen with it.

So something had to be applying force to the crystals? Interesting. I did get the impression that the light was either coming through the metal container, or even weirder, from inside it!
Crystals can store energy, and some think they communicate with each other. I wonder if something was tuning into your crystal and it was responding. I know that sounds nuts.

What sounds like nuts can also be genius! I am more convinced that the lights were coming from inside that container. There was nothing behind the metal container but a large jewelry box, not metal.
