I know that this is true, because while I am not a four year old, I sometimes get disturbing images or dreams while trying to sleep. Last week I groggily asked my father to help. I dreamed I was sitting in a stadium with my father on one side of me and my husband on the other. I felt safe, and was interested to know how my husband ended up in that dream because I hadn't mentioned the dreams to him!
