The story about the person driving and nearly being hit by a piece of steel belted tire, reminded me of a near miss of my own. In both the recorded experience, and in my own, I felt that everything had slowed down and gotten very quiet. My car had stalled on a busy road and I fully expected to be rear ended. Instead all oncoming cars vanished. (I shared this story here before.) It was like the angels had stopped time!

I love reading these stories and hear about angels among us. It has never happened to me (that I am aware) but i believe that there are friendly spirits with us.

Major league baseball (MLB) players talk about things slowing down when hitting a baseball or fielding a hit ball. I always thought that it was due to adrenaline . . . perhaps spiritual guidance?
