And our next contestant is....

The 70s version of "Match Game" (Brett Summer, Charles Nelson Reilly, Richard Dawson et al.,) was a hoot. Most of the celebrity panelists were either drunk or high by the time they taped the 3rd or 4th episode of the day. If you watch the reruns on the game show channels these days, you can tell which shows were the first vice late shows taped per day.
They also had drinks on set! lol

That’s why I love that show. I could be a contestant or just as easily one of the panelists. I used to love when Brett would talk about the illicit little towns in California and their seedy little motor inns. Always made me ponder in which little cities’ illicit hotel I‘d find myself. I learned that Apple Valley, Upland, San Dimas, and Arcadia were all pretty much the same.

I've recently been able to watch some of those from the past. I know not what channel on DISH they are on, but my hubs lives in the past and those have been on.
