It’s always so disappointing when a movie is a great… all except for the actual protagonist of the film. The newest Scream is what inspired me to write this post. I love everything about it, except for Sam, the main character. Barrera is the worst actor in the film and the character is rather bland anyway. Movie would have been so much better if Jenna Ortega was the lead.

I felt that way about The Mist. Memorable ending with just bad dialogue and not the greatest acting due to it. It is still a good movie, though could've been far better.
