Great story. Since it wasn't mentioned by the witnesses, sounds like they felt no heat emanating from the object despite the husband getting as close as 12 ft from it.

The report used a couple terms I have heard used in ufology in a long time, "solid light" and "UFO nest."
I was confused by the fact that they describe the light as not illuminating but later state it lit up the foul pen. So was this two different lights or a change in one object? Still these people no doubt experienced something.

The way I read it, the foul pen was illuminated by a light that moved to it from the object itself.

Impossible to say based on the report, it just says a light from the object moved 66 ft in 4-5 seconds and lit up the fowl pen when it got there. Apparently the light didn't go beyond that point.
