Bronze Age stone circle found for the first time in 100 years on Dartmoor - and it could be older than Stonehenge
  • Stone circle Sittaford Tor is the highest circle in southern England
  • Forms part of the 'sacred arc' of similar sites placed in a semi-circle
  • It is the first such site discovered in a century by archaeologists
  • Religious or spiritual ceremonies may have been held at the site
  • Raises question of what was at the centre of the 'sacred arc' of stone circles

I find these places absolutely fascinating! Always wanted to visit Stonehenge, the Tor with it's winding path to the top, and now I need to add this one on to the wish list!

Yes, me too. I just like to imagine what these places were like during their time. This is why I hope they one day can develop time travel.
