An Australian family were understandably unsettled after their home security system captured footage of what appears to be a ghostly figure walking alongside their dog.

Thought it was pretty interesting the 'spirit' passed right through the island as the pup walked under it lol. If it were a passed loved one, perhaps animals pick up on our energy as well as our physical markers.

I see the distortion but it's not clear enough to make much out. It really could be a rick of the light. The cheap cameras have low resolution and slow speed.

I'm OK about ghosts but I don't think this is one. The camera is registering infrared as most security cameras do. Infrared = heat. So, I think the camera is just picking up some rising body heat from the dog or perhaps a reflection from the floor.
