Saturday Live Chat
Today's banner is in honor of the Harvest moon from last night.
The Full Moon nearest the autumn equinox is named the Harvest Moon since,
during this time, the Moon helps the harvest by providing more light at the right time
than other Full Moons do.
In 2016 the Harvest Moon is in September. In some years, it is in October.
MORE SEPTEMBER MOON NAMES
In years when the Harvest Moon falls in October, the September full Moon is usually known as the Full Corn Moon because it traditionally corresponds with the time of harvesting corn. It is also called the Barley Moon because this is the time to harvest and thresh the ripened barley.

Help yourself my friends
Hi Lynne. Thanks for the tea offering. I prefer coffee.
I sent a text to my sister, partly to let her know that I remembered her birthday. I asked " are you doing anything special " and she gave me the best answer ever " everyday is special.". Wow.
Good morning, all! Happy Saturday to all!
Just a little hungry this morning.
