Here's Junedale Little League in Gary, Indiana hosting the 1983 Senior League World Series.
Played there for 7 or 8 wonderful years.

At the time, it was a baseball palace. (And our daycare center.) That picture may also be from the city tournament or opening day.
The outfield had so much signage -
The field was top tier minor league quality -
All possible from lots of talented volunteers, generous sponsors, and lots of US Steel $$$$.

Back then, the Glen Park section of Gary was a really nice place. Debi will concur !

Over slept and had to reschedule my oil change....lol!
Gonna be domestic today. Lots of thunder storms coming which don't play well with my migraines and nerve damage. Already feeling it today.

FYI....recipe for a migraine cocktail.
1 ibuprofen 250mg
1 acetaminophen 250mg
1-2 benadryl

1 Methocarbamol(muscle relaxer) 750mg
1 ibuprofen 600mg
1 acetaminophen 600mg

Nice to be back. Just finished a paint job, and woof, I'm stiff & sore. So today, I'm reading back in here and discovering what everybody's up to.

Paint! I learned a new painting hack this morning. You probably already know it, but if not, here you go. If you get paint on your clothes, let it completely dry, and use the gel hand sanitizer with a rag, and it comes right off!
