Yes... I'm not from the tourism board, but... NO winged insects the size of Cessna's here like down South! No water moccasins, no fire ants, no tarantulas, etc. I don't get along well with insects, reptiles, or spiders, so that's nice about this area, ours aren't usually deadly!
