Her name was Elaine from West Texas and it was apple pie and the flannel shirts! lol She is one of our often referred to characters here. The other show that is legend here is FEG...Flat Earth Guy. People know I hate that topic.

She was a hoot, but my favorite Bell MITD guest was the young guy who claimed to have found a crashed UFO, I think in the Nevada desert. He couldn't keep his story straight, and kept changing the narrative as a function of the questions asked. The funny part was Bell was more angry the kid had the audacity to take the interview on a cell phone than he was the guy was clearly making it up as he went along.

I've never listened to any of the FE loons on any show.

Art was obsessed with his audio. He didn't care what the guest had as a story, but it damn well had to sound good on air! lol

There was also the gal who made a fortune writing Bigfoot porn. I can't remember if I read or heard her interviewed, but she sounded perfectly reasonable. Claimed she came up with idea when trying to figure out a way to occupy her time and make a little extra money after her kid went away to college. In the same scenario, Mrs Duke decided to dabble in Longaberger baskets.
