I am reminded of an old cartoon, it may have been in The New Yorker decades ago, 80s. Or Playboy, come to think of it... at any rate, two damned souls are standing naked in hell, burning flames ten storeys high roaring around them. One says to the other, " Yeah, but it's a dry heat."

95 now at 7:20, and on the way down early thanks to a few straggler clouds.
They are still saying 102 by Tuesday.
Hottest I remember in this house was 106 about 25 years ago or so.
 
Not quite sure how it happened but we dropped to 75 degrees tonight! Who left their fridge open?
