Looks like 1100 hours is best. The humidity will have dropped to a reasonable level and the temperature is still lower. I got 13 miles in yesterday; a good start for the week.morning bike ride for me.

funny, when i first saw the pic one of the memories that came forth was in the military in the mid 80's, those things were popular. but the biggest complaint was lack of stealth. you could hear those things open across a football field....lolSome may remember USAF pilot Scott O'Grady who got shot down over the Balkans back in the mid 90s. He escaped and evaded capture for nearly a week before being rescued.
I was part of the team that debriefed O'Grady, in our case particularly dealing with personal/life support/survival equipment. One thing O'Grady really harped on was velco enclosures, and how loud they are when opened. He almost got shot trying to open a velcro pocket while hiding in the countryside. He preferred zippers.
summer has absolutely hit here in the south. 90 degree days already and the humidity is off the charts....it wont be long before im looking forward to november...lolYou know that the summer heat is upon us when you hear the air conditioner running at 0530. It looks like an early morning bike ride for me.
The velcro he was talking about was used on his survival vest pockets. Don't remember which vest he used, but here are representative examples.funny, when i first saw the pic one of the memories that came forth was in the military in the mid 80's, those things were popular. but the biggest complaint was lack of stealth. you could hear those things open across a football field....lol
