I have seen the aurora from Utah many times over the last 49 years. Once about 25 years ago, it was amazingly bright.

I mowed the lawn today for the first time this year, and my back is not happy. I get my spine injections tomorrow after work, finally! Two months late because of my broken ribs. Should carry me through August, at this point.

I am getting up at 4:30 am, will peek outside then.

We got walloped with that CME. So...so far this week we've had an eclipse, a new moon, a solar flare, and Mercury Retrograde. I will be living under a rock for the next week until this all clears...lol

Sometimes, if it's really clear, I can see the orange glow of the steel mill in Gary. Those our are northern lights !
