I managed to find my way back up from a night of weird dreams about 10:30 ish. Of course I didn't get to sleep until about 4! And then the dreams started so it was an evening of broken sleep. Sigh. Thank God for coffee!

man what a day. i am beat.. but i did get a lot accomplished. so much i cant even remember what all i did...lol...... i lucked out a couple weeks ago and acquired a 1940's iron bed, garage find, it was in really poor condition, heavily rusted, over about 4 coats of paint... so after three days now of vinegar washes, 3 wire wheels and an angle grinder later the headboard is clean, and has its first coat of base paint. i think it will turn out OK when complete......heres a couple before and after pics......

Thanks, looks pretty good so far. hoping i can find or recreate the wooden wheels on it, they are still there but havent aged well....lol.... its telling me it has to be antique white in color, so after the footboard and rails catch up with the headboard itll all be finish painted together...but so far so good i think
