Today we rented a U-Haul pick up truck and drove out to the country again, to buy a leather sofa from the man we visited before. He helped us load it into the truck, we talked about COVID, then we drove home. Once there, Jim realized that he wasn't sure about the safest way to handle the very heavy sofa. Just then a man came by, walking his dog. He asked if we needed help, and I held his dog's leash while he and Jim carried the sofa into the house.
While this scary virus is going on, it is nice when people can still be kind and helpful! That was a couple of bright spots in my day!
