The yellow has deep deep gold, no red in it. But washed out in the sunlight it looks real pale , and in the shadows takes on an orange hue.
If you remember from third grade art class , green and red are opposites on the color wheel. When they go together , it looks like dynamite. But the paint doesn't have green or red in it. It's all a trick of the light.

Looks great, Paint! (Chonky Joy feels good now with only being 13 pounds...lol)

Good evening, everyone. I hope your day has been lovely. :)
I'm sitting here waiting to hear Mama Raccoon climb up. I'm trying to get a pic of her for you, but don't want to scare her off. I'm trying to remind her I'm friendly and not going to chase her away from her meal. I've been giving her some cat kibble and 4 Ritz crackers a night.

Matt Dillon (the groundhog) was spotted roaming through a neigbor's yard again today. And I've seen migrating birds the last two days. I do believe Spring is giving it every effort to take over the control board for weather.

You have a lovely home Paintman

Good evening gang. It was a busy weekend and frankly I was just too tired to come on line. It was nice to have a little sun light today, it brings the feeling of spring. The cold however has stuck around and it is miserable. It warmed just long enough to make a giant mud pit in my horses pasture where she had lost one of her very expensive theraputic boots. I spent over an hour trudging through very deep mud in the freezing wind looking for that stupid thing. I was giving up and stomping in when my eyes landed on it. I was relieved but absolutely wore out. If you have never had the supreme work out of mud walking, it is an impressive trial of ones resolve. Today was Scrabble day at moms. I am finally home and relaxing.

Hi Lynne, and yes, I have done the mud walk in a field to rescue a pair of Winnie the Pooh red boots from a kid I told "Do NOT go into the field!" This was years ago but it's like a mud monster trying to pull you under with each step. You must be exhausted!

I was horrified. Each boot is 140 dollars. I buy them one at a time. No joke I was out there at least an hour, while she sat in her stall without a worry lol. I was praying and God must have heard my prayers because my eye caught it at the last second. Why they are ot florescent green is beyond me. They are black with white logos on them. Not easy to see in a sea of mud and pooled water. I was worried it was under water. I was ever so relieved when I found it sucked down in the mire. Washing the pair was another unplesant chore. This time of year everyone could be for sale lol.

The legend of the red boots lives on in my family...my son Michael claims he was being swallowed by a mud monster and came in with muddy socks crying his eyes out it ate his boots. Luckily I was looking for red, but even then they were hard to find, so how you found black in white in mud is kind of a miracle.
