Sad news, Judge Wapner died. He was 97, married for 70 years.
People's Judge Joseph Wapner dies aged 97 after pioneering courtroom reality TV
Many of you may have noticed I have a peculiar sense of humor. So, I have a friend who is an attorney. When new Supreme Court justices are sworn in, I send him a sympathy card for the gross oversight of not choosing him, and offer, "Better Luck Next Time, Sport." (He looks forward to these.)
