Never had an issue with regular ones. See it more with Keurig and some of the other higher priced coffee makers. When we had the big storm, we had no electric. My buddy ran his whole house on a portable generator and only thing to bog it down was a Keurig lol.

I think it's time for a regular coffee pot! lol I'm tired of this.

To put into perspective, Keurig is around 1400watts my standard coffee pot is around 800 watts. So...if you have a 20 amp circuit with multiple things on it, that is good for about 2000watts max give or take the trippage of breaker lol. Now if you running a micro on same circuit..they usually around 1000watts.

Well jeez. Now my grandson is sick with "something". Not sure if Covid or flu yet and he's diabetic type 1. Everybody be careful out there with all these viruses loose!
