We're making a pot of chili. It's something I can warm up on the gas stove if need be.

Oh I had some really nice plans with all that salad.
The fire is burning really nice now. And the smoke is going up the chimney where it's supposed to !

We do have a fireplace but I haven't had it cleaned or checked in years because of the breathing issues it can cause for us. No wood either. But I'm glad the smoke is going up instead of in! lol
I'm going to try and get some cookies made tomorrow. I've not baked at all yet and I've had my son so busy with storm prep he hasn't had time either. So! Tomorrow...some cookies shall be baked. I cheated and got premade cookie dough.
