Not this year. Hopefully around Christmas.

Hiya. I had kind of an impromptu day off today due to a late truck and I'd rather worked. I've got my work cut out for me tomorrow and I'm going to push myself to get up before 2 AM so I can get as much done as possible, but it looks like I'll also be working a little on Thanksgiving itself but it happens. I'm still not looking very forward to it, though.

Hi Lynne. And Thanks. Me too. I doubt I'll be able to push myself out of bed that early. The time I can start is optional, but I'm trying to avoid grocery store crowds. I can get at least one or two worked before opening time tops.

Here’s hoping you don’t have to work on the holiday. I worked many in my time, retired now. I was a youth specialist in a detention center for juveniles. Those shifts needed covering 7 days a week. I was often mandated to not only work the holiday but to stay past my shift.

I don't have to work on Thursday, but I likely will. It won't take but about four to five hours, tops. I planned on taking from Thursday to Monday off, but those plans unfortunately fell through.
