Almost bought one today. But saw a nice piece of beef that would've been great in crock...then looked at price ugh.

I found some sales recently...or at least lower prices than the norm of recent days, so I indulged.

That they are. And I swear, I try for some meatless meals around here and the guys are popping open a can of spam. They are country boys and just can't seem to get by without it! I don't even care much for meat! And I won't touch the Spam. Nope.

I usually shy away from it, but i ended up buying some cubed steak. My mom used to make it with sliced onions and gravy. Is pretty good.
