Lol. The Red Bellied black snakes are very common here. When I worked at a nursery on a farm they would slither past as you were weeding, every day. They had a "pet" one who would curl up next to me while I was working but one day the pet turned out to be an imposter and almost bit me, lol. They aren't usually deadly and they do prey on the deadly brown and tiger snakes. There was one huge black snake there, around 10ft and thick as a man's arm when they usually are around 6ft fully grown. You'd be walking around waist deep scrub and you'd see them slither down cracks in the ground, a bit unnerving, lol.
