Colors here are really going to be bad. Not enough rain. We are in a deep drought and most leaves are turning yellow and just dropping. The river is down as well.
We're getting some color here in KY, but it's been way to dry. I think it will be subpar here, too.
Pretty much the whole midwest right now. We're hoping for a cool down next week. It's been freakin' hot here again!
The mountains are 10 to 15 degrees cooler than KY. We're bringing clothes to dress accordingly.
At least it will feel like fall for you! Summer needs to bow and leave the building here! I will say the wildlife is acting like we may be in for some snow or "interesting" weather this winter. Got black wooly worms and the birds are a full two weeks ahead of schedule on migration. Yes, I know...old hedge witch here reading the signs...lol
The signs usually point in the right direction. I'm expecting a harsh winter here, as well as WV.
Glad someone else out there reads them as well! It's becoming a lost art.
