I'm taking a walk down memory lane but, my late grandmother could cook up quite the storm with what I just mentioned. Homecooked meals were the absolute best.

Yes...no and no...lol If it's a squash/pumpkin/eggplant etc, it's a no. Once again, Debi is very picky! lol I have been since a child.

LOL Now you're learning. As far as veggies go, any bean, brussels, cabbage, cauliflower, asparagus, peas, corn and broccoli.

I will snap beans til my fingers bleed if necessary. We used to can a bunch each year. I cook them up with bacon and a bit of onion. YUM!

I remember doing that as a kid at my grandmother's. She used to buy them by the bushel.
