I'm back! I have a dentist appointment tomorrow (just a cleaning) but have been putting it off due to COVID.

You'll be fine, hon. They are really taking every precaution right now, especially in the medical areas. Wear a mask going in and coming out. They will be wearing shields most likely as well as masks.
