Well if guess this comes down to your definition of "participated". I've never entered a chili competition but I have eaten competition chili. So depending on that ruling I've either done all these things or all but one.

Have you ever made potato chips ? Mrs Critter and I did when we were first married. We had a small ( baby ) frier. We sliced a potato with a potato peeler. Then dropped the batch into the frier basket. Yum ! I can still taste them.

My girls were in Girl Scouts and we pretty much participated in most outdoor activities. I would go on some of the trips that they had.

my wife make potato chips and tortilla chips often. mmmmmmm..sooo good, especially the tortilla chips. love them

We reached our predicted high temp of 62°F today and it is windy. Yesterday it was 82°F. I am hoping for a good frost (no more ragweed) followed by Indian summer.
