Totally agree with you. I inherited my mom's big old clunky dresser and armoire. Solid pieces from back in the 70's and weigh a ton, but you couldn't break them if you tried! I may look a bit dated around here, but the furniture will hold up to anything. My siblings couldn't believe I wanted them.

that is a cool dresser....just about all of our tables and such and a few desks and dressers.... i either made or re did. ive got so many end tables and coffee tables i dont know what to do with. lol..... some get given away some just get stored in the attic or shop. but its fun to rework old styles. just to see if life can be given back to them.
