The Stand by Steven King was the last book of that type I can remember reading.

I still reread Alas Babalon every few years. It is a classic.

I am a voracious reader and book collector. I usually read History books, historical biographies and sometimes historical fiction. I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and have read them uncountable times. I love my Classical Music biographies as well as my collection of Religious books.

Good choices. I enjoy history and religion books too.

I like Historical Fiction. Read lots of Fantasy and SciFi when I was younger. Anything by Morgan LLywelyn is good.
