Can Dreams predict a death?

Debi, all of those precog dreams of death you refer to, are they about people you know personally? Or where some precognition about famous persons/stars or even near strangers?
Most were family or friends, Wands. Only one was someone I didn't personally know, but was a friend of a friend. As Paintman said, sometimes it wasn't dream, it was "knowing".

Maybe start setting an intention before sleeping that you would like to know the meaning. Perhaps you will have another. The ones I had seemed just convey the message that they were ok and still alive in another location.
That is a good suggestion. The cryptic message is written down somewhere, so I need to review it first before going down that path.

I have been in a dream drought of several months now. But last night I did have a dream. It was short, vivid and symbolic. I cannot go into detail. It did not inform or clarify the message I received from my mother. But it was significant in its own right. I am also convinced that just having the dream was not a coincidence, but was produced by my unconscious as a result of making that post.

Several of us here keep dream journals and that helps train the memory. You have to write it down as soon as you wake. I have failed at this endeavor. I need to try again.

I've been visited by several past family members in my dreams but never predicted anyone's death at all.I quite often get bad feelings before major disasters but can't pinpoint where it will be.Predicting deaths of people close would be a nightmare to me,I'm sure a lot of people predict their own death from what I've seen by their actions before they pass and seem to accept their fate without fear.

This observation is accurate. Many in the medical field know that if a patient is telling us they are going to die, we better be listening. I've seen this happen over and over again. And I've asked...."Why do you feel you are going to die?" The replies are pretty much the same..."I just KNOW."

I know this might be an unfair question Debi because you might not have actually researched same but your experiences in geriatric and hospice nursing are relevant. Do you have a feeling on whether most of those patients were responding/commenting from a physiological or from a mental or a possible mystical perspective?

That short response you quoted reminds me of my own psychic self when I too in fact just “knew” stuff. It certainly was not physical, nor physiological.

I believe they are having a mystical experience of "knowing."

Case in point. We just lost a family member yesterday. Yes, he was on hospice but doing well. Nothing major going on, but he suddenly told his wife he was going to die in a few days. He did. He said he just "knew". On the other hand, I've seen perfectly well people make the same statements and pass within days. This knowing I can only liken to the claircog that some of us have of "knowing". It's simply, suddenly a knowledge we have that wasn't there before.

I once had a set of twins on unit. Long story short, twin #1 passed and the other was distraught she left without her. A few days later, Twin #2 had a vision of her sister, who told her she would come for her in 3 days. Sure enough...Twin #2 passed in 3 days.

Very interesting but of course not necessarily surprising. Thanks for the examples.

I have had 2 dreams of my daughter dying, the first time I dreamed I had to go to Juarez Mexico and they handed me her body in a burlap sack, and I thought that she had 2 years to live before this happened, so a year later I had another dream of her dying and thought that she has one more year to live, so the last dream was 2 or 3 months ago. I told my wife and she says I should tell my daughter, but I don't want to scare her.
My daughter moved to Mexico shortly before the first dream and of course we are very worried for her safety there, it is very dangerous there. She is a very very pretty girl, and they sell girls into sex slaves in Juarez, and also sell body organs of young people, they found a truck load of dead kids in the rich subdivision when we lived there, it was a friend of a friend that saw this after a traffic accident she had with the truck, the drive shot himself in the head after the police arrived.
I have never known of any of my dreams to come true. My daughter has also had several dreams of me dying. She is the one that is sensitive and called me the other day when I was sick knowing I was sick even though no one told her and I never get sick, so we have a connection there.
I did predicted a very bad thing was going to happen to her in Mexico one time when she went there on vacation and begged her not to go and she went anyway, she did not believe me, but it did happen to her, so I think she knows that when I get one of my feelings she needs to listen, so this is one reason I don't want to tell her of my dream, but I think I might have to say something to her when it get closer to the event, I am not sure what to do about it though, I doubt she will ever move back the to USA.

I’m sorry to hear of the event that came true. I’m on the side of telling her. Let her decide what to do about it. I’m so sad for you that she wants to live in such a dangerous place.
