My UFO Sighting

this lady explains a lot she is an academic

That's Annie Jacobson, she's a journalist, not an academic. She's done some good work on the UFO subject, but her claim the Russians sent small, genetically modified pilots flying saucer shaped craft into the US is fantasy.

What positions? I pitched and played second and and short. Did a little stint at third base in my last year.
Asking the real questions:)
I have a little connection with Kettering Ohio. My best friend in college, still friends, played at IU and was Mr Football for the State of Ohio. My mom's neighbor went to Dayton.
I got Wright Brothers coming out of my head.:)

In the pick up games we played almost daily, weather permitting, you played ever position at one time or another. Depending on the number of kids available, you might be the entire infield or outfield. If there weren't enough to play a game, we played "five dollars" or "pickle." Once I got a "pitch back," a combination net and springs contraption, I'd throw to myself.

Then there was wiffleball.....

Yes you are correct she is a hack.
I wouldnt put it past Stalin though.
It explains how we view our side as wholesome and the enemy wicked.
I argue that the USA did and do what was needed to keep the people safe.
I am a big fan of america and the people are generally very charitble.
There are things, dirty things that the secret service must do.
I am not getting political so ill stop now!

I didn't/wouldn't call her a hack, but am surprised she buys into the Russian story. She's no worse than Nick Redfern who contends what crashed at Roswell was a captured Japanese (flying wing) glider designed during WWII to be sent over the US attached to a giant balloon, then released to spread biological agents over the population. Apparently the US was testing the system for possible use against the Soviets. Don't remember exactly how Redfern explains the bodies, it might have just been the smallish PoW Japanese pilots flying the thing getting mangled during the crash. He too claimed he got his story from a former "insider."

You have to remember that everything is theory. There is not one theory yet that can be proven right or wrong, but we have to look at the sources and remember they all have their own take on it.

Yeah now you say it.
When you hear one account you feel sure like when I watched JFK movie then a freind told me another theory and how the film was factually wrong.
One thing I do contend is that the secret services around the world have played weird games since the war

I have seen UFOs on two occasions. First time, I was about 5-6 yrs of age. Young as I was I could never sleep @ night. So I would roam around the apartment in the dark or, as on this particular night, I went to a window on the North/West side of the apartment. I love looking out of this window because across the street there was a huge vacant lot and no trees to block the view. Well, it probably was, IDK, 1-2am. Quiet as always, I looked up and there it was. a long Cigar shape whatever with blinking colored lights. Green, red, white, yellow lights. This thing was moving vertical straight up, making no sound what so ever. It was moving real slow and I wasn't afraid of it, just wondering what it was. Keep in mind I live in Chicago 1972-73.. To this day, I still strongly believe that someone or something was watching me back, and strange things started happening after.
The second time was when I lived in Bowling Green Ky. I was home alone with Snickers, (Pomeranian). My wife @ the time, Christine was on night shift @ work. So, snickers and I was lying in bed around 1am. To set a good picture of this, the head of bed set under a window on the North side of the home. I wasn't asleep, just laying there staring at the ceiling with snickers on my chest. the window was open and the breeze was awesome. Then, snickers jumped up, looking out the window, started growling. I thought it may have been someone walking by. Then I noticed that it was too quiet outside and then I heard it. It was a very soft pulsating sound. " Woooommm, Woooommm." and then I notice the green pulsating light coming through the window, illuminating the room. So. snickers looked @ me, I looked @ snickers, and we dashed to the door and went outside. there it was, facing North, heading from West to East. A triangle shaped object that flashed a green light as it made that "Woooommm" sound. I looked down @ snickers, she looked up @ me and we went out toward the streets. there was no sound anywhere around us, as if we were the last two on earth. It was up there pretty high up. Then it just shot off into the sky, out of site, out of mind. 2012

Bowling Green is just fifty miles or so from Fort Campbell, home of the Nightstalkers.

I've never seen a UFO, but I want to see one. I've got my video camera ready lol. There's been a lot of UFO sightings in my hometown. Lots of people have seen white orbs or tic tac things coming out of the Niagara River. They fly out of the water, fly around in the air for awhile, sometimes looking like they're chasing each other and playing around, then they fly away, sometimes back into the Niagara River. Pretty weird. I don't know if they're aliens or not. I'm not sure what else they could be besides some government's secret technology or some private corporation's, but people have been seeing UFOs since well before human aircraft existed.

I think the reason most of us do not see them is because we don't walk around looking up in the sky, spend more time star gazing, and I also suggest looking at Steven Greer's advice for doing a meditation while star gazing, and try to communicate with them telepathically, to draw them down to you, this really works, I will tell you how I did it in this thread.
