Hiya Tobor, I like your style:).

Tony, I relate. My trainer in bodybuilding had a similar philosophy, that paid off for both of us. Treat your contest preparations with the same attention to detail 6 months away from a show, as you do two weeks out.

Deb, I was watching the weather throughout today and couldn't help but notice that southern Indiana was getting peppered with some serious storms.
Same up here.
Making a triple sized chimichurri.:) Halfway through pulling all of the cilantro and flat parsley leaves. It puts a little ache into my shoulders.:(
Remind me to tell you the parsley story tonight when the gang is all here.

Paint, 9 hours practicing daily for a 4 minute tune became the norm, all I did was play eat and sleep.

Hi guys. Yes, Paint, we got hit. I have a few old trees down but not any near the house so we're good, but I keep losing internet and power off and on. We got smacked.

Hat tip. Love that dedication. Let me go out on a limb when I ask this rhetorical question. I bet you're happy you did it and you're glad that you never have to do it again ?
In Championship National level bodybuilding in the 80s and early 90s was a 6-month cycle of getting big followed by six months of getting lean and conditioned.
So for four consecutive years my life was dictated by my diet. I was miserable because I had to eat so much food 6 times a day for 6 months. And then I was miserable because I had to eat so little food 6 times a day for 6 months.:(
The upshot was it gave me the confidence that I would always know that I would make the cut. (TOP 5.) And from there always be in the mix for the title. 10 #1s, 3#2s, 1 #3s.
Still friends with a lot of the old gang. You would be shocked if I told you how many of my friends died in their thirties:(.
