Take me out to the Ballgame....

I love that article with video. Walton is hilarious. Their tie dye shirts are wild too. So, does Bill Walton have a connection to Chicago ?
The connection is with the Sox play by play announcer Jason Benetti. Both broadcast college basketball and their paths crossed.
" What is the Major League record for strikeouts in one inning?"
Man we have to get to the bottom of this one....

Players weekend starts today on MLB. The Cubbies look like star wars soldiers at the plate with batting helmets on. The NATS look like men in Black.

I rooting heavily today for the White Sox who play the Braves. White Sox pitcher and former National is pitching today. Here's hoping that Lucas Giolito has a great game. Go Lucas, go White Sox !

YEAH, BABY. There was much celebration last night.

Marty Brennaman on final game: 'Hardest day of my life'

Tomorrow will be long time Reds' and Baseball Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman's last game. He's been the Reds' play-by-play man since I was a junior in high school, I remember listening to his first game after he took over for Al Michaels. He has a giant ego and can be a jerk (saw it first hand), but he's a top notch baseball announcer who will be missed in Cincinnati. I hope the Reds' can send him out with a win so he can use his longtime catch phrase "....and this one belongs to the Reds" on his final broadcast.

I have listened to him many times. The Nationals team and announcers paid tribute to him when Washington visited Cincinnati earlier this year and have mentioned it in a few other broadcasts.
