8-10-2019 Saturday Live Chat Thread

Good Saturday morning. It’s an early start today. I am babysitting two friends horses and have a couple stalls to clean before going to my families for a small get tog. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
And this is taking it easy and resting how???

A-1 Steak sauce or garlic butter. I can go either one.

I tend to avoid ready made sauces and prefer to do my own from scratch. I've tried BBQ sauces and really don't like them on anything. The only sauces I use are for cooking such as Soy, fish sauce, worcester sauce etc.

Worchestershire sauce is my sauce for cooking beef. Splash that on it all. Love certain BBQ sauces, but not all. Mostly on pork or chicken. I'm picky about it.

Worcester sauce work for me in stews, a splash on toasted tomato sandwiches etc. We pronounce it wooster over here :)

We have the "or" sound here...when and IF people can get that word out of their mouth and pronounce it...lol I like that you guys shorten that! Easier!

Worcester sauce on steaks for me too. I don't use cooking sauces either other than gravy mix and I try and make my own of that too but my autistic son only likes the bought gravy mix.

Recently I've been looking at what I would call "proper" Chinese cooking, and trying to master some basics.
