When I was younger (from 4-8) I suffered from nightmares ( no idea why) i remember waking up in the middle of the night from a nightmare about 3 times a week. I distinctly rember having a lullaby sung to me (can't remember the lullaby) and my hair being stroked. I always thought that this was my mum (I'm British) but when I was 7 I locked my door and put a bell on the handle ,closed the windows and kept a light on and the -what i asume is a - ghost ( it sounded like a woman) still helped me after I woke up that night I called her mee kah
Because I was 4. Comment your story if you have a similar one

I was awake, lying on the bed with the off/on girlfriend. I was on my back, and her back was facing me. I felt something gently touch the hair that covered my forehead.

One time I experienced something when I was alone in my bed; I felt a gentle tug on the upper right corner of my comforter that covered my right shoulder. I was awake during both encounters.

One day I was visiting the Lego store in the mall; I felt the bottom of my hooded sweatshirt tug from behind; I turned around and there was no one behind me.

I’m surprised at 4 you would have this level of reasoning. You were a smart kid. Sounds like you had a caring spirit looking after you. Have you had other events as an adult ?

I get something tapping on my leg while sleeping, many times just as I have started to drop off. I have often had a phantom cat kneading the blankets around my feet, too.

What is the tapping like?

It’s gotten weird over at my place and I’m starting to get sorta angry but, you know how your eyelid will sometimes twitch? That annoying little muscle spasm?

For a little period of time the side of my arm just above my elbow was doing that. It was annoying but easily ignored. It persisted to the point of becoming really annoying. About 4 nights ago I was laying up in bed against the head board and it was twitching. I then put my arm back up over my head just because that’s how I sit sometimes and my side at the rib cage started doing it. I noticed it but didn’t really react. Then I decided to go to bed so I laid down on my side and my back started doing it.

I hope I’m being clear but in all those positions the spots twitching were in the same spot in relation to the side of the bed. Thinking about it now, I think something was tapping me. When something is tapping you is it similar in feeling to when you get one of those annoying little muscle spasms?

Come to think of it, it does feel a lot like annoying little muscle spasms. But the way that I can tell the difference is to hold my fingers over the area and if it is muscles, I can feel the muscle jumping. If it is other, there is no corresponding muscle movement.
