Thought forms/Tulpas

I think that intent can take many forms. The Slenderman myth was created within the context of an internet forum that specialized in Photoshop contests. The original submission just happened to be interesting enough such that people began to add to the idea. The next level was when others began to incorporate the idea, as though it was real, into their own creative efforts. Critical mass was achieved when those with no idea of the origin of Slenderman and who did not employ critical thinking were exposed to the idea and began to actually "see" manifestations of Slenderman in the physical world. That is all to say that the original intent was not to create a Slenderman myth as it was ultimately manifested. Instead, the intention itself was incremental, taking a different form at each level.
exactly, that was what I was thinking.... that's also why I stated "you have to visualize all possible outcomes of each choice before making them...the repercussions can be lasting" or some thing along those lines...lol

The concept of Tulpas has always intrigued me. Essentially it's an intentional concentration of energy around a person, place or thing. My theory is that a tulpa or thought form would explain poltergeist activity and certain cursed objects. However, at the same time it's also a wide open door for inhuman entities.

Similar to how someone using a Ouija board thinks they are talking to Aunt Marie but it's really something claiming to be Aunt Marie. Someone might try to conjure up a six foot tall invisible rabbit, but what appears may or may not be their doing. There are stories of Tulpas changing and taking on a life of their own, which makes me wonder if they were true thought forms to begin with. If that six foot rabbit starts to feel less Harvey and more Donnie Darko then that means something has gone very wrong.

Yeah,I don't these things are thought forms at all,I think they are just random entities brought out from who who knows where, but it maybe from the darkest part of you.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it would be frowned upon in the karma dept.....lol.....buuuut....lol. my point being is that this is energy based, which is neither good nor bad until paired with intent....so theoretically anything that can be done for good has an opposite method for malice, the good and evil, yin and yang, etc.... That's why you have to visualize all possible consequences for any action you may try to bring about.....some ppl think of all this stuff as simple parlor tricks when the repercussions of choices can have lasting effects.
Wise advice because when we interfere with another’s free will, there is a high price to pay.

How is this different from a guardian angel ? Or a multi dimensional entity? Is this a phrase implying guardian angels are not real but generated soley by the familys existant culture, or the Holy spirit or Holy when one receives confirmation is just a tulpa generated by the thoughts and culture of the congregant and congregation? But I thought they were real / denizens of this earth plane or near by visits ala Angel.

So calling someone elses guardian angel a tolpa appears to be either minimizing their religion or maximizing human potential. But this wasnt a out guardian angels, was it.

I wonder if tulpas could be used in therapy to reorganize someone. I wonder how Buddhist priest & teacher uses tulpas or the culture works with spirit/ works within spirit in a shared mind with Buddhist teachers trained in Tibet / within the tibetan linage Buddhist priest teacher: student learning & guidance.

I think the difference between this and a guardian angel or other entities is the belief that tulpa's don't have a soul...(especially as far as Buddhism is concerned) the buddhist teachers rarely teach the idea of tulpas because it is a more advanced teaching that is considered dangerous if not ready to be used by a trained person....it is just an energy being that is made good or bad with intent, energy is neither, until formed with the thoughts and purpose of the user....it is basically an imaginary friend that takes on a personality of its own, mirroring to a higher intensity that of its creator, therefore one who creates the being must be aware of their true intent and inner self.....
the "mind made body" teachings get pretty deep, but is used almost as astral travel would be used to ascend to different planes of existence or be in another place far away.....like I said it gets pretty deep to try to explain in just a paragraph or two, plus it is a complete different belief system as far as souls and "religion" is thought of.

Are you referencing linages in martial arts? Or is that a spirit thing? Just being outside of your own culture baliwick may make mormons call buddhist angels names or catholics call mormon prayer inadquate lol right or protestants call etc etc and the word demon is cast around alot, usually refering to someone elses saint, miracle, or their angel message or holy ghost . vocabulary ! its all imposing a very awful connotation on everyone else usually.

I do not think we are talking about the same thing Sierra. Tulpas are not angelic or Devine beings. Defined Tulpa is a concept in mysticism and the paranormal of a being or object which is created through spiritual or mental powers. It was adapted by 20th century theosophists from Tibetan sprul-pa (Tibetan: སྤྲུལ་པ་, Wylie: sprulpa) which means "emanation" or "manifestation".

In many ways I have considered the Christian God as possibly being a thought form. If so many people believe in the existence of something - and could also explain why it was stated "you shall have no other Gods but me". - Just a thought.

I have tried this myself, and it is quite mentally exhausting to keep it up for any length of time, because a part of your subconscious has to constantly crank the handle on these things. Most I could manage was several weeks.

I cant see God being a thought form,if this was the case God would be visible at every church every Sunday with the amount of love and thought put out there.
