A worker at a hospital in England suspects that she may have captured some paranormal activity on film in the form of a door inexplicably opening and closing on its own. The footage was reportedly taken by an on-call paramedic named Hannah Southern during her shift at the Bedford South Wing Hospital. During some downtime on the job, she spotted what appeared to be an apparition in a window, which led her to launch an impromptu ghost hunt of sorts.

Heading towards the area where she saw the anomaly, an abandoned part of the hospital that once served as a psychiatric ward, Southern was stunned when the doorway to the wing suddenly began creaking open. No doubt unnerved by what she was seeing, the paramedic froze in place and began filming the eerie scene. Much to her amazement, the door repeatedly opened and then closed seemingly via an unseen force.

Given the past history of this particular area in the hospital as well as the spooky oddity that Southern believes she saw beforehand, there is some speculation that perhaps the door was being opened by a spirit of some kind. Skeptics, on the other hand, argue that the movement could have merely been caused by normal air circulation in the building.

I've never been in a building where the air circulation was so forceful that it opened doors. The only time I've witnessed a door first hand being opened by air pressure, it was from outside wind and it was due to the entrance being in a corner where the wind could swirl in a vortex motion.

To me, this one is very suspicious for air pressure/circulation.
I had something similar in an apartment I lived in as a child. It only happened once, but it was creepy while it lasted, lol. Our bathroom door kept opening and slamming all by itself. I am pretty sure that it was raining and windy outside, and we later found that a window was open on the other side of the apartment.

In this video, the way the door is behaving looks a lot like some kind of wind pressure from elsewhere in the building. Just sayin.'

That's what it looks like to me too. It happens all the time at my house. There is a window in the kitchen that doesn't shut all the way and even if there is a light breeze the door swings just like that because there isn't a latch on the door. It is certainly creepy and unsettling when you see it happen though, even when you know it's because of the wind.

It sounds like there’s some noises too. It might be a draft but it sure is moving with a bit of purpose. Looks eerie to me.

I am a nurse, I can confirm almost all hospitals are haunted.. I dont like talking about it as it gives me anxiety - but its the truth
I totally believe that.
