Summer is coming....

I worked all my life in geriatric care, and I have to say, that name combo is unique. The universe tapping your shoulder again!

Yes such that I was trying to figure out Debi if it might be an urging to place him there or to move on. I was very impressed with the place and would have moved to the place myself at 31 if I could. It once there he didn’t live much longer. He declined very quickly for some reason.

It's often the case, Wands. I saw it over and over again, and now that I am older, I get it. I understand the "why" of it. You can just get that bone tired you know when it's time to move on. It's a "letting go" of sorts.

Very reasonable explanation. And at 90+ this man was biking, swimming, and or dancing daily. I think he might have lost his independence (driving). And definitely he lost my Mother (stepdaughter) to death a few weeks later. My Sister refused to tell him nor let me tell him she’d died. He died without ever being told by any family that my Mom had died.

He may not have been told, but I'm betting he knew. I once watched a perfectly healthy man die within hours of his wife's death. She was on unit. We had provided him an extra bed on another unit so he didn't have to travel back and forth to home while she was dying. He stood beside her and told her, "Don't worry, honey. Go on over and I'll meet you there." Within a few hours, both had passed.

Crying. I miss this forum so much because I’m working so much. Will be busy for next four weeks on my CEUs to maintain my medical coding certification. I hope to join back in by 1st of next month.

Get back here when you can, Wands. We're here and not going anywhere!

And boy, we went from cards to death in a heartbeat there! lol And best of luck on the coding....Lord and Lady help you!

Sounds delightful on each choice!

Cards? Interesting! I used to do that back in the day.

My first creation...
