A professor at Montana Tech has suggested the UFO phenomenon may be evidence of time travel. In his new book, Identified Flying Objects, anthropology professor Michael P. Masters argues UFOs are time machines occupied by humans from the future. "The phenomenon may be our own distant descendants coming back through time to study us in their own evolutionary past," he said. As evidence, Masters notes abductees often describe their encounters with entities who appear human-like.

The number of occupants who appear human is a vital point to follow up. This almost fits with my own experiences, although I think that if they were from the future, they were trying to control, rather than study history. I thought it was more likely that they were from the past. If you had a time machine, which way would you pay most attention to? And would you risk changing the past? I think human beings are certainly involved though. It's too often assumed that history is a straight arrow and that all change is progress. There are more directions than up.

Edit: Also, the frequent failure of visitors to blend in. Out of date clothes, weird mannerisms anachronisms and general awkwardness. How often do human strangers appear wearing silly things like foil clothes or space suits on Earth as though they don't understand what they mean or are for or driving old Cadillacs and so on? A team from the future wouldn't have these issues would they?

Further edit: Also, all those "We broke down and have to do repairs" stories!
Although, actually, that one may sound like the future.

I'm not sure if I've ever posted this before, but it's a fun watch.

I shall give that a view tomorrow.

I'm not sure I'm on board with the time travel thing, but Benway does make a compelling argument for it.

One way to somewhat explain the lack of knowledge would be to think instead of " time travel ", to think of inter dimensional....if you throw quantum physics, other demensions / realms, and the multi verse theory into the mix, you get many of the same realities playing out....now when we think of this we only think ( usually ) of our time, but what if there's an alternate reality playing of every year at once....this would mean there's no such thing as " time ", because now all time / history, past, present, future etc... Is playing all at once....so what if its just beings, us or who / whatever that has figured out how to " jump " realities....

I think I am more onboard with this theory than any other.
