2 PM Report: The mission to keep the husband out of the way is failing miserably. My children know bad words. I am now in my bunker making a new battle plan. Back shortly with a new report.

3PM Report....

The parquet sqaures are now up from the subfloor. NOTE: Snow shovels can shovel more than snow. Carpet and old parquet will make a mighty bonfire and an offering to the flooring gods.

Meanwhile, the boys have run short of cuss words and are now on a repeat pattern. Husband has been contained to bedroom area at last under threats from cussing children who are bigger than he is. Should have used that to our advantage earlier. Turned TV channel to suck-him-in channel. Progress is being made.

I need a drink. Wine in fridge.
